Re: Construction Project Manager
I am applying for the position of Contructiont Project Manager, which you have recently advertised with your company.
I am currently employed as a Project Manger with Eskom in South Africa. However, my spouse is a Family Physician in the United States, currently practicing in central Minnesota. Since our careers have kept us on separate continents for several months, it is my goal to return in order to establish our permanent home.
I am open to relocation in any one of several states, based on the needs of your company. My career training and experiences are diverse and I hope that you will find my background compatible with the needs of your organization.
If further training is expected in order to better qualify me for this position, I welcome the challenge and opportunity. You will find me resourceful, motivated, a quick study, and a team player. I am known to adapt quickly to any new environment.
I am willing to return to the United States for interview at your convenience. However, please note that I will be in the country July 22nd through August 3rd. During that time, I will have more flexibility for travel between states.
Given the time difference, e-mail is probably the most efficient way to contact me, and/or I am happy to arrange a call to you at your request. As a way to absorb the cost for the international calls, please contact my wife at 267-243-9414 and she’ll reach me and I’ll return the call ASAP.
South Africa is 7 hours ahead of Minnesota’s central time.
Sincerely,
Ken A. Charles
