DESCRIPTION:
One of the nation’s larger industrial projects, complete build out at this site is estimated at 1.8 billion dollars and recognized worldwide in the specialty metals industry. I was responsible for the mechanical process portion of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning with a team of project engineers and managers to oversee the construction of the mechanical process equipment.
Acquiring administrative staff and overseeing schedule, tracking, documentation and the logistics of the project. This was a large-scale project involving interaction with a large number of entities. The schedule was fast track with large amounts of resources utilized to facilitate fast construction.

DESCTRIPTION:
Six one million gallon aeration basins, four five million gallon clarifiers and thickeners, methane fired power plant, two structures housing turbine liquids pumps, evaporation basins and SCADA (fiber optic) automation
Demolition and backfill of the old facilities including two concrete aeration basins, four concrete clarifiers two large pump stations and many other ancillary structures
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of all operations of the project including staffing, acquiring sub contractors, maintaining contracts, Schedule, documentation and all company correspondence with the owner and engineers.

SR-201 and Redwood Road Interchange and Highway Project – Design Build
DESCTRIPTION:
Demolition of two bridges on SR-201 at Redwood Road in Salt Lake City and new construction of three bridges and seven miles of highway on SR-201 and Redwood Road. This project also included storm drainage, medians, traffic control devices, lighting, signage, landscape and major utility installation and relocation including fiber optics.
The job entailed close interaction with UDOT who maintained joint offices onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate schedule with cost, resource loading and schedule approval through UDOT. Oversee Sub-Contractor negotiations and maintenance of contracts. Set up and maintain project tracking and documentation. Generate pay requests and project reports. Weekly meetings with Owner Engineers and Contractor.
