Plan, organize and manage commercial office site development and construction. Responsibilities include local jurisdiction approvals, design and blueprint review, and ongoing analysis of overall project and budgets. Preparation and management of contract documentation, inspections, OSHA requirements and inspections, bidding, negotiations, selection and coordination of sub contractors and trades, materials management, scheduling, building code compliance and quality control. Manage multiple subcontractors and trades on simultaneous projects as needed. Clients include JE Dunn Contracting, Whiting-Turner, Gensler Architects, Harvey-Cleary, Toyota America, Shell Oil, Conoco, City Bank Texas and Children’s Medical Group. Supervise projects with values ranging from $1 million to $20 million including high rise.
Project Manager – AIMEnterprise Mesquite, TX 1998 to 2006
Designed and coordinated projects such as manufacturing expansion from a 6,000 square foot to a 300,000 square foot facility. Project included office design with attached manufacturing, assembly and EPA approved painting modules. Consulted on Las Vegas, Nevada manufacturing expansion for Shelby Automobiles. Specified, negotiated, and contracted 3rd party services including logistics, remote location temporary construction and demolition nationwide for trade organizations and auction services. Managed transportation, product delivery, MRP coordination program and hiring of sub contractors and trades. Construction Subdivision Manager – Pulte Home Corp Irving, TX 1994 to 1998
Managed multi-phase projects and subdivisions during development stages through close out including supervising construction of streets, greenbelts, utilities and retaining systems. Average cost per project $25 million. Coordinated local compliance and inspections, project changes, and product offerings.
