As you can see from my resume I have be continuously employed in the industry as a Construction Superintendent over 30 years where my duties included but not limited to. Lead the project team in the field and ensure project completion within budget, Schedule and conformance with design, Administer, coordinate, manage and expedite construction process. Interpret and enforce construction contracts / specifications. Proactively communicate construction development schedules, deadlines, expectations, concerns and any related issues to all parties involved. Prepare and schedule scopes of work for each trade throughout the construction process. Build a logistics plan that allows the contractors to complete their work in a coordinated, efficient and timely matter. Maintain a weekly up to date site schedule and 3 week look ahead to insure efficient overlap of trades. Hold weekly safety meetings, Hold weekly MEP meetings. Effectively communicate with client and representatives on a regular basis while ensuring project is on schedule and within budget. Coordinate efficiently with the project manager and the rest of the team. In my 30 years I have gathered experience in ground-up Hospitals, High-rise, Water treatment Deep tunnel water recovery, Tilt-up’s, High-Rise Condominiums, Mixed-use, Commercial and Schools. Furthermore I am experienced in managing projects on military bases ( DOD) and accustomed to working with quality control personnel from the corps of Engineers and other regulatory agencies such as OSHA.
