PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• On site supervision of all phases of commercial/residential projects including concrete, rebar, grade work, storm drains, asphalt, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, paint, ceiling grid, floor covering etc.
• Schedule subcontractors to meet budget and deadline constraints.
• Proofread blueprints to gauge consistency between sets and to ensure quality of work performed.
• Meet with subcontractors to review project schedule and coordinate timing between phases of projects.
• Oversee and enforce OSHA safety regulation on the jobsite.
• Coordinate efforts with local building inspectors and utility personnel.
• Have established good working relations with local building inspectors, have never had a job “red taggedâ€.
• Order rental equipment, tools and consumables needed for the project.
• Coordinate concrete pour schedule and oversee finishing process.
• Have supervised larger projects from beginning of set up through completion of punch list and at times supervised smaller projects at the same time.
• Experience with both modernization and renovation along with new construction.
• Maintain a high standard of quality control at all times.
• See that good housekeeping practices are observed and maintained.
• Keep the progress schedule current, review schedule status and job costs.
• Insure that the project is secured each night.
• Assist the foremen with any problems.
• Insure that all change orders are properly executed and indicated on as-built plans.
• Assist inspectors on their project reviews.
• Maintain good relationships with inspectors, architects, subcontractors and other key people connected with the project.
• Attend, on request, all technical meetings for the purpose of discussing job progress and problem areas.
• Maintain close communication with Project Manager on any unforeseen problems which may develop.
• Assist Project Manager in estimating percent completion of each item for monthly invoicing and of labor for each job cost report.
