Summary of Qualifications
Working in the construction industry currently employed as a Carpenter Foreman. Experience includes work on a variety of projects including the building of roads, tunnels, and bridges including Harbor Tunnel, the I-95 bridge between Harford and Cecil County. Experience includes large commercial construction projects including grocery stores for the Giant chain of food stores; institutional projects such as St. Joseph's Hospital and Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Worked on residential construction from ground up to turn key. In the past, received Federal Security clearance to work on the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant; local military base at Aberdeen Proving Ground and other federally funded projects including the Federal Reserve Building in Baltimore. Currently, engaged in insurance work involving residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction as a result of fire/water damage.

* Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in construction, installation, and
repair of wooden structures, and fixtures.
* Supervise and coordinate activities involving metal stud framing in commercial construction.
* Examine and read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure. Lay out floor plan

* Select materials and structural units, such as lumber, prefabricated doors and cabinets of
wood or laminate, and paneling, and inspects them to ensure conformance with provisions
of building code and local ordinance.
* Determine sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly, and erection of structure.

building concrete forms, erecting wooden framework, and lay flooring.

* Inspect work performed by subcontractors, including ductwork, wiring, and pipe

vinyl and tile floors.

Carpenter Foreman BHR, Inc/Meyers Construction 2002-Present
Currently involved in insurance work including fire/water damaged properties both commercial and residential. Coordinate activities of subcontractors and company personnel to successfully rebuild/repair numerous commercial and residential turn-key projects. Scope of projects included plot layout, blueprints, excavation and grading, foundations, concrete and masonry, framing, drywall, tile setting, flooring, cabinetry, window and door casework, interior and exterior trim, exterior sheathing, fencing, decks, and roofing, enforcing all OSHA and MOSHA safety regulations. Includes working with architects, corporate executives, coordinating sub-contractors both union and non-union, ordering and coordinating delivery of material, equipment, and supplies. Involved in daily interaction with homeowners/tenants to resolve design variations in timely manner to maximize customer satisfaction while remaining within budgetary constraints. Continue to work as a liaison between employees and the company to resolve any personnel situations involving workplace issues.
Journeyman Carpenter/Acting Foreman Giant Food, Inc. 2001-2002
In this capacity, the work included construction of a 60,000-98,000 square foot commercial retail food store from ground up to finish trim and walk-through with corporate supervisors. This involved assuring the grading and leveling conformed to specs prior to pouring concrete footers and pads. Blueprint evaluation and resolution of conflicts between drawings and site disparity. Coordinating with plumbers/fitters, electricians, and other trades to complete work on a timely basis and within budget.
Journeyman Carpenter BHR, Inc 1990-2001
Extensive experience in custom single family and multi-residential dwellings, reconstructions, additions, remodeling, light construction including tenant improvements and heavy commercial construction including bridge and tunnel work and repairs throughout Baltimore-Washington DC area. Routinely submitted payroll, addressed employee/employer relations issues.
