I have over 25 years in the construction industry, with over 20 of those years in a supervisory role. ï® Responsible for coordination and scheduling of subcontractors and management of field staff.
ï® Duties included enforcement of contract issues, subcontractors adherence to plans, specifications and building code, writing and tracking RFI’s and other construction documents to insure changes are incorporated into the project, Management of the construction budget, weekly schedule updates, coordination with the design team and owners, chairing weekly subcontractor coordination and schedule meetings, and quality control.

Belle Glade Regional Hospital. – 2008-2009
Green field building of a four story, 70 bed, JCAHO accredited, general use hospital worth 73 million dollars built in the middle of Florida’s sugar belt. My primary responsibilities included M.E.P. and Specialty Systems
Holmes Elementary School. – 2006-2007
Demolition of existing structures and construction of an 800 student modern facility. This project was fast track 8 month construction of 66,000 sq ft. costing 16 million to complete. I took this project over at 80% structure and finished thru student occupation and punch list sign off.
Miami Central High School. – 2006-2007
I acquired phase 1 of this project at approximately 80% structure and continued thru 100% structure and 50% finishes. The project included the demolition of two buildings and the addition of a Chiller and power plant building, as well as two new classroom buildings. Total cost of construction for this project was 24 million dollars. I latter returned to this project and completed structure and utilities for phase # 3 before being re-assigned to Belle Glades Hospital.
Broward County School “Z†– 2007
Pre-construction, including authoring the project specific scopes of work, site utilization plan, preliminary schedule, and general conditions budget for this 14 million dollar Elementary School.
Pinellas County Jail Medical Facility - 2005
Project Superintendent for this high security, 30 million dollar, four story, 160,000 Sq Ft medical Center constructed on an active maximum security jail complex.

University of Central Florida Bundle Project: -- 2005
The project consisted of the renovation of two buildings and the construction of two new facilities including the 6,700 sq ft, student recreation pool complex and the two story addition to the student union which included a “green roofâ€.
Disney’s Vacation Club World Sales Center – 2003-2004
Lead Superintendent for the renovation of an existing gymnasium building and three outbuildings previously part of the Disney Institute. This project included structural modifications necessary to install a second floor in the gymnasium building. This 20 million dollar package included a fiber optic and laser light display, a fully functional arcade, an old fashioned ice cream parlor and an elevated train and track system that meanders thru the entire main building.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. – 2002-2003
Construction of a multi-structure condominium resort including a spa, multiple pools and restaurants. Total package cost was over 100,000,000dollars. My responsibilities were underground utilities, then roofing. I completed the four buildings considered phase 1 before starting the Sales Center.
UCB Pharmaceuticals, US Corporate Office Marietta, Georgia. –2001-2002
Four story, 110,000Sq ft office\ research center which included computer floor in most areas, multiple clean rooms, labs and corporate offices. My responsibilities were ground up construction of this 20 million dollar facility.
The Waverly at Lake Eola. – 2000-2001
Twenty-three story, 350,000 sq ft, 230 unit luxury condominiums located downtown Orlando, Florida. The project included an elevated pool, small retail area and a parking garage with a construction cost of 40 million dollars. I assumed responsibility for this project at structural completion of the 9th floor and completed the project thru turn-over to owner.
Orange County Public Schools Immediate Needs Project. – 1999-2000
Primarily code compliant upgrades to seven Orange County Public Schools. The project included the addition of chiller plants, new HVAC equipment, installation of fire protection systems, installation of fire and smoke walls, and the renovation of kitchens. Chickasaw Elementary School turned into a restoration project with the goal being to restore the original buildings to 1920’s in appearance while incorporating modern life safety elements into the buildings. I assumed full responsibility for these projects at 30 % completion. These projects ranged in value from 3.5 million to 6 million dollars
Orlando Premium Outlets Mall –1998- 1999
Greenfield one hundred twenty acre site. Project included de-muck operations, construction of a sixty-five million dollar, 150 store mall and the renovation of one and one half miles of Orlando’s famous International Drive.
Crusade for Christ International Headquarters. – 1997-1998
This 22 Million dollar project included the construction of two office buildings totaling 287,600 sq ft on 250 acres previously utilized as cattle range, several recreational lakes, and new roadways. One particular obstacle overcome on this project was the discovery of an endangered species of turtle.

 Managed projects ranging from fifty thousand to seven hundred –fifty thousand for this low voltage systems contractor. Responsible for hiring and maintaining a qualified work force, scheduling manpower, ordering materials, engineering and pricing change orders, creating schedule of values, projected billing for a three month period and project visits to ascertain the status of each project and the accuracy of work performed.
