EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
John has been a strong leader for over 30 years. His experience has been primarily in Healthcare, Laboratory’s, Static free clean rooms for R&D and manufacturing facilities. (P-3, Class 10K, 100K), as well as Biomedical, Biohazard and static free environment facilities. He has worked extensively with OSHPD and their engineering staff and inspectors as well as DHSR (DFS) along the East Coast. Hazmat and OSHA trained and certified. John has a long history of successful projects ranging from new construction to the impossible up fits within occupied space. An expert at field project management comprised of the coordination of multiple superintendents and field staff as well as subcontractors and vendors. Frequently used for projects that requires stealth, speed and precise organizational skills for highly technical equipment and highly demanding clients. John is experienced with computer programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera/Sure Track 3.0 scheduling programs. John has obtained clearance; Class Four (4) - Security approval from the Federal Government (inactive) to work in classified and restricted areas.

Construction supervisor and Project Manager of ground up and TI projects that consist of; Design and research facilities, Retail centers, the Food Service industries, Pre engineered steel buildings and tilt up warehouse space. He was involved with projects from pre-construction, Architectural and engineering design thru the city or county approval for permitting. Bidding and budgeting from public competitive bid and private hard bid, CM at risk as well as negotiated work, as a project manager with scheduling thru contract negotiation and owner/ client interviews to the buyout process.
John also had management duties for individual projects that he was directly responsible for their successful bid or negotiated work to scheduling, contract writing, establishing budgets, pay applications, procurement, production and their completion to occupy based on sign off’s and close out packages from, Health Department, and City, State or County Departments

Senior Superintendent
John was the Senior Field Superintendent for the RJ Griffin Co. (Dunn Southeast) Health care division. Based in Charlotte North Carolina. John’s responsibilities included the field team’s consisting of two superintendents, two junior superintendents and an eight man labor force as well as the subcontracting staff and the sign off’s directly involving DHSR (DFS), at Gaston Memorial Hospital, (Gastonia, NC.). Directly in charge of the Day of Surgery (DOSU) and the Emergency room additions. John was also the general team leader, overseeing the 7th floor Psychology Department renovation as well as the 5th floor Patients room renovation. All were completed on time with DHSR (DFS) approvals and sign off’s for occupancies.
John was also the field’s team leader at Moore Regional Hospital, (First Health of the Carolinas). Directly involved with the Moore Regional Heart Center, his responsibilities included working on pre-construction, site constructability and the project scheduling of the ground up Heart center. John was also assigned as the team leader at the campus in charge of three Superintendents two Junior Superintendents and six skilled laborers, involved with various campus projects. John was involved in the pre-construction efforts for the following projects: Holly Hills Medical expansion project, Presbyterian Eye center expansion, Charlotte Presbyterian Church.

John was the Senior Field Superintendent for all ground up and TI projects. These Projects consisted of; Healthcare Facilities, Computer and Electronic research and manufacturing facilities, Class 10,000 to 100,000 clean rooms, Static free environment for Design, research and manufacturing facilities, commercial developments, The food service industry, industrial plants, multiple building campus developments and high rise projects. He was involved with projects, from pre-construction, OSHA, OSHPD, the FAA, the FDA, the DOC and Health Department compliances, constructability and pre-bid, scheduling through contract negotiation and owner/ client interviews to the buyout process. John also had site management duties for his own individual projects that he was directly responsible for their scheduling, production and their completion to occupy based on sign off’s from, OSHPD, the FDA, the Health Department and City or county Departments. The remainder of the job included the staffing, cost control and quality assurance as well as the field and office support to thirty-one Turelk Superintendents, Eighty-three skilled laborers and Seventeen Project Managers in the Orange County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County areas.

These Projects consisted of; Major Campus Facilities, Multiple SCE Campuses, Design and research facilities, and industrial plants. He was involved with projects from pre-construction, OSHA, OSHPD, the FAA, the FDA, the DOC and Health Department requirements and compliances. John completed Constructability review for pre-bid. Scheduling through contract negotiation and owner/ client negotiations, as well as participated in the buyout process. John also had site management duties for his own individual projects that he was directly responsible for their scheduling, production and their completion to occupy based on sign-off from, OSHPD, the FDA, the Health Department and City or county Departments. The remainder of the job included the staffing, cost control and quality assurance as well as the field supports for the seven Austin Company Superintendents, and five Junior Superintendents in the Riverside, Orange County and Los Angeles County areas.
