I have a good experience in all kinds of maritime jobs; I have been vessels captain for 6 years, a Tug Captain for 02 years, a Marine pilot and chief pilot of ULCC and VLCC Tankers in Mohammedia port terminal Morocco for 21 years, Responsible in the same time for the Security of tankers and terminals, tugs and boats in Mohammedia port terminal. I Manage with Harbour master day to day to decide for all the traffic Tankers in Mohammedia port due to the weather forecast to decide if we take or not tankers along side or unmooring them without damaging the tankers or berths. I have been also a Manager of Maritime agency and I was responsible for containers terminal in Casablanca port for 01 year. I have been a Manager of salvage of wrecks, diving and subsea works, and all kinds of maritime works in Mohammedia and Casablanca port Morocco. I’m specialist in buoying maintenance with divers works such chains, boys, hooks and more maintenance things.
I’m specialist also in tankers and terminals Security (ISPS and ISGOTT Code).
Pilotage competency : Before 1987,in Mohammedia port Terminal ;we have used for a long time one Single MOORING boy SBM.As pilot in this time I proceed just near the boy with a tanker, then I send with mooring boat minimum 03 wire- ropes to be fixed on the buoy (SBM) by mooring team under my order and control. I pick up hoses from sea with divers and then we connect them to the tanker Manifold to start discharging the tanker.
After 1987; as pilot and chief pilot, we start to use directly, 02 berths A and B, we berth on 04 dolphins (berthing dolphins) and moored the tanker on the mooring dolphins, and we connect arms to load or discharge tankers.
In 21 years as pilot and chief pilot, I handle more than 900 big tankers with length overall is more than 285 meters with 17 meters of draught and 6000 Small tankers with length overall less than 285 meters.I have also handled one big tanker in Le Havre port terminal, she was called LE BOREE, and she was about 350 meters long with 22 meters of draught and 350000 tons, when I was training pilot in Le Havre. I have also completed my simulation courses in DELFT HYDRAULIC SIMULATOR in Netherlands, between 1992 and 1997, to be able to maneuver all kinds of tankers in any weather forecast situation or with any mechanical problem or without tugs.
I can also teach maneuvers and Pilotage for young captains, In Mohammedia port I have complete training for 03 Moroccan pilots and 04 Mauritanian pilots from Nouadhibou.
