Completed 40-hour on-line Well Control School as well as multiple safety courses regarding working around equipment.
Snubbing- Analyzed compressive and tensile forces and the stresses created in the use of production tubing in low and high pressure wells using stress analysis programs that utilize Mohr’s circle. Snub forces, buckling loads, parting loads, torque loads, pressure differentials, frictional forces, depth, annular velocities, unsupported lengths, capacities, and percentage yields were all calculated on daily basis. Also acquired a full hands-on training of how the equipment works and is maintained.
Completed two design projects and fully documented the developed products that met overhead lifting design constraints. Each consisted of design purpose, design specifications, component selection, piece/part drawings, designating welding procedures, weld calculations, multiple stress analysis, finished product testing, and conclusions.
Coiled Tubing- Input string designs, fluid parameters, well schematics, and well conditions into Cerberus to determine capabilities of particular strings in various well conditions. Considered a variety of realistic constraints, such as manufacturability and sustainability; economic factors; and environmental, safety, and reliability issues. Designed, analyzed, and performed finite element analysis on a set of linkages and mounting system as well as calculated spring rates, anti-squat, and impact forces on the rear suspension of a Jeep Wrangler.
Electro-Mechanical Systems Design – Studied the characterization, selection, and integration of electro-mechanical systems and components including AC and DC motors, generators, servo-motors, stepper motors, controllers, solenoids, hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. Designed a gravity oven controller that maintained a temperature profile by controlling the power source and opening and closing the damper.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Designed and fabricated bumpers, mounts, rockers guards, roll cage, suspension links, and tube fenders for a 2001 Jeep Wrangler.
Designed and fabricated a solid axle conversion utilizing a three-link suspension, coil mounts on the frame, cross-member for frame mounts, all axle mounts and perches, and steering linkages for a 2001 Chevrolet Z71 1500 and a 1999 Isuzu Trooper.
