Evaluated numerous site designs and estimated a variety of scenarios to develop the most feasible site configuration and retail mix for maximum profitability. Responsible for representing Mimms during municipal hearings. Coordinated design with city and county officials to ensure the end result would be well received by the community. Oversaw bidding and award of the construction package for site development and retail space, including contract negotiation and award for 44,000 sq. ft. grocery store. Value engineered $500,000 from project cost. Coordinate relocation of TVA transmission towers.
Sanders Square – Cumming, GA. August 2008 – December 2008, Mimms. Thirty acre, $4 million site development. Oversaw pre-development site work, stream mitigation to add 1.5 acres to site.
The Silos at North Farm / Walgreens – Alpharetta, GA. May 2007 – March 2008, Mimms. Twelve acre, $6 million development. Oversaw superintendent and construction personnel in the $3.5 million dollar redevelopment of an existing 80,000 SF shopping center including complete façade replacement, new parking lot configuration and paving, new landscaping and improvements to the main frontage road as required by GDOT, including pre-development of Walgreens store.
