Civil Designer in 1997 with Murphy Family Farms, leading global producer of commercial pork products. Coordinated design process with survey crews, design teams, and Construction Department for 20 new facilities. Designed and drove construction of industrial facilities, as well as technology projects focused on waste reduction and process optimization.
Project Manager, Risk Management Department from 1996 – 1997 with First Citizens Bank. Collaborated with Director and Risk Management team on development and implementation of new procedures for collection, tracking, and reporting of fraud cases, and trained team for engagement. Developed database for collection, tracking, and management of bank losses. Resolved internal and external fraud cases through account analysis, video surveillance, and interviews, resulting in recovery of more than $250K. Performed 25 branch safety inspections relating to construction and renovation projects. Forged staff safety and facility security plans for expansion of Operations Center in Garner, North Carolina. Drafted and presented staff health and safety training program for Operations Center, as well as branch.
