• Project Manager of 19 new big box stores (approximately 1,871,408 sq. ft.) including:
− EXPO Design Centers, Home Depot stores and Garden Centers (approximately 271,231 sq. ft.), 15 Tool Rental Centers (approximately 30,420 sq. ft.), and participation in five additional big box stores.
• Project Management of:
− Three - six story apartment buildings (approximately 525 units)
− Refurbishment of a 230-unit apartment complex and community center,
− Completion of 180-unit apartment complex, and groundwork for a combination of 17 buildings (Town Homes & Community Center).
• Remodel of five La Quinta Inns & Suites (approximately 650 rooms), along with completion and inspections of seven new hotels (approximately 900 rooms).
• Assistant Director of Construction / Project Manager for Pacific Theatres including new construction, additions, food service facilities, and historical renovations of 20 Motion Picture multiplex theatres.
• Director of Maintenance for Pacific Theatres of approximately 80 properties.
• Additional experience included building construction and tenant improvements:
− Bowling Alley, Business Park, Storage Locker Buildings, Retail Spaces, and Office Buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accessed site conditions, organized and issued contracts to consultants (architects, geotechnical, site engineers, fire analysis, site development coordinator, general contractor and/or sub-contractors).
• Prepared single line concept drawings, coordinated and reviewed architectural plans for accuracy and design function prior to city submittals.
• Coordinated and prepared the issuing of bid documents.
• Reviewed consultant reports and coordinate as necessary; contractor bid documents including analysis for content and accuracy; all invoicing; approvals for contracts and material billings; RFI’s for accuracy, tracking and distribution; Change Orders; and other legal documents.
• Attended city, site development, Real-Estate and construction meetings
• Conducted site inspections and work progress reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive design and architectural background; ADA, Life Safety, and SWPPP Trained, Innovative Problem Solver, Efficient Organizer, “Team†Supervisory skills, Computer proficient, and Licensed General Contractor (CA. #340842).
