Primarily, we built overhead cranes in our shop in New Haven, and then work crews travel around the country to install the systems in various factories and companies. I am a field crew leader, in charge of the various jobs that I am sent on to do installations at. The installation process involves welding, fabrications, layout work, mobile crane and forklift operations, etc. I have lead many of these jobs over the years, as well as being under a different crew leader and working. I have also been responsible for customer satisfaction on each individual job. This also involves dealing directly with the customer on a one-to-one basis quite frequently. I was layed off from this job on March 2, 2009 due to lack of work.
