As a licensed architect I have been fortunate to continue to learn and grow in my career and have experience in the following areas: Project Director, Project Manager, Project Designer, Project Architect, onsite architectural administration, as well as quality assurance/quality control management and structural and MEP coordination.
In October of 2006 I switched from the world of design to the world of construction. My experience in construction includes marketing, pre-construction services, estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews as well as Project Management and Project Engineering Duties.

CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV – QA/QC Manager 2008 to 2010. Duties included responsibility for the coordination and administration of all trade contracts, preparation of bid requisitions, receipt and analysis of bids, distribution of documents, and administration of change orders, review and submittal of shop drawings, preparation of correspondence and management of the project information control systems methods. During pre-construction duties included preparing milestone estimates and performing value engineering and constructability reviews.
Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY 2007 – Drawing, Coordination and Constructability review of a 1,300,000 SF, 50,800-seat new baseball stadium that will serve as home to MLB’s New York Yankees. The new stadium was constructed across the street from the old Yankee Stadium and will be a tight fit between existing streets, elevated trains, and underground subways tunnels and stations. My responsibility was to review the 100% DD documents and provide constructive feedback as to the Project Executives as to the overall completeness of the documents and to provide constructive guidance for more efficient ways to detail and construct the ballpark to save time and money.

DESIGN EXPERIENCE
RFK Stadium Upgrades, Washington, DC 2004 to 2005 – Project Designer and Project Architect, $18 million fast-track design-build delivery of improvements to RFK Stadium to accommodate the relocated MLB franchise to Washington, DC while continuing to serve as home to the DC United Major League Soccer franchise. Responsible for providing design solution and working with the CM to create a construction set of documents in less than 45 days and complete all construction activities while maintaining the physical operations of the existing tenants and MLS team in less than 4 months. Project was completed on time and under budget for a successful opening day for the Washington Nationals.
Minute Maid Field, Houston, TX 1998 to 2000 – Onsite Architectural Administrator, 42,000-seat, 1,260,000 SF, five (5) level, retractable roof ballpark. Construction cost of $250 million with a construction schedule of 29 months. The ballpark is home to the Houston Astros. Responsible for all day to day Architectural activities from daily construction progress reports to coordination of Structural and MEP consultants onsite, to daily job meetings with the CM, Owners Representative and City Officials. Other duties included keeping current logs of all shop drawings, RFI’s, ASI’s and job related correspondence as well as maintaining a current posted set of construction documents.
Coors Field, Denver, CO 1993 to 1995 – Lead Project Architect and Onsite Architectural Administrator, A 50,000-seat, 1,452,000 SF, five-level ballpark. Construction cost of $176 million with a construction schedule of 28 months. Project also includes the renovation of an existing historical warehouse into office space and demolition of six structures located at the site. Coors Field is home of the Colorado Rockies. Lead Project Architect duties included leading a project team to successfully complete construction documents and perform structural and MEP coordination roles for specific areas of the project. Onsite Architectural Administrative Duties included a rotating schedule of traveling every third week to the job site where I provided assistance to the onsite staff for daily construction progress reports, coordination of Structural and MEP consultants onsite, attend job site meetings with the CM, Owners Representative and City Officials. Other duties included keeping current logs of all shop drawings, RFI’s, ASI’s and job related correspondence as well as maintaining a current posted set of construction documents.
