Mobile Screening Force Supervisor
Screening Supervisor for the Transportation Security Administration. Traveled with a specialized team following September 11th 2001 to multiple airports across the country to replace private screening companies and train new federal recruits on screening equipment.
• Screening Supervisor for Sanford International Airport, responsible for over 200 TSA airport security screeners.
• Duties included implementing security-screening procedures that are central to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) objectives to prevent transportation of any deadly or dangerous objects onto aircraft. Also participated in information briefings concerning classified information, managed the screening checkpoints on a day-to-day basis to include all equipment and personnel, directed the work of subordinate employees, set priorities, monitored and evaluated performance, coached and developed employees, and recommended corrective/disciplinary action when needed.
• Additionally, tasked with training approximately five hundred TSA screeners at seven major airports nationally.
• Trained screeners to meet the congressional deadline for federal staffing of all commercial airports with TSA screeners.
• Responsible for continuous retraining to implement the most current Standard Operating Procedures.
