Hotel Renovation. Conducted the renovation of a 3 story hotel. INTERIOR: Entire 1st floor & part of 2nd
floor, lobby, laundry, fitness center and both elevators. EXTERIOR: Stucco repair, painting entire building,
installing exterior lighting of building and parking lot and surfacing & restriping entire parking lot; while facility
remained open for business on 2nd & 3rd floors.

L) Blackhawk Park – La Crosse, WI. Army Corps Of Engineers [Government]

I was under written contract to run the crews for the chiller removal of 32 floors and roof top units,
and asbestos abatement.
N) Custom Timbers Inc. - Fox Lake, IL. (OWNER)
This company was started upon my arrival back in the mid west from California. Custom Timbers built many
intricate custom homes, decks, gazebos, room additions, and completed many large siding projects both on
single family homes and large condominium projects. In addition to new construction projects, we were also
involved in many remodeling projects for homeowners and contractors alike, both in residential and
commercial areas
Custom Timbers was also registered with FEMA for disaster relief, in which we were engaged in
massive rebuilding in tornado stricken communities.

1. Construction Company - provided subcontractor services to other development companies, general
contracting companies as well as it’s own projects.
Some projects and clients in which we were involved with are:
KAUFMANN & BROAD HOMES – we provided framing and interior / exterior finish, on tracts
of homes and condominiums from 200 units up to 800 units.
Warmington Homes – tracts of
homes from 100 units to 700 units. Barrett Homes – tracts of homes 80 unit to 400 units. Lewis Homes –
custom home tracts of 5 to 15 units, from 250,000 – 4M. CENTEX HOMES – home and condominium
tracts from 200 units to 900 units.. We were also engaged in projects with Bechtel Corporation 138M,
Rockwell International 40M, and McDonald – Douglas 60M .
We built TGI FRIDAYS, APPLEBEE’S, SIZZLERS, TACO BELLS, CARL’S JUNIORS, Mc DONALD’S
and STEWART ANDERSON’S BLACK ANGUS RESTUARANTS.
We were the general contractors on these projects.
At any given point we would have at least 3 housing tracts running simultaneously .
1b. These projects were a joint venture between myself (Redwood Companies) &
Howard Hoyt & Assoc., some under my contractors license.
A. 280 Unit Hillside Condominium Project with Subterranean Parking. Glendale, CA.
This project started as a 365 unit apartment complex, but after structural steel, concrete was in place; and
after the first floor deck was installed; the investors decided to change to condominiums.
B. 14 th Floor Mall Interior Renovation - L.A. , CA.
C. 90 unit Residential Subdivision – Modesto, CA.
2. Development Company - Land Acquisitions, Real Estate Development, the Sub Dividing and Planning
of our Development Project, the Arranging of Financing, Designing and Building of Custom Home
Communities (250K – 6M) or Housing Tracts (125K – 200K).
The Building, Marketing, Loan Conversions and Arrangement of Financing for these projects were all
completed in house.
We also provided project management for architectural design build firms.
3. Material Company - supplied material packages to our other two companies as well as to other
contractors and homeowners.
Totally, I employed over 300 employees.
