Implementation of BBSP, Identify opportunities
and assist in identifying and correcting safety hazards.
Assist BP in improving their Meet and Greet program. Help Chevron Safety Manager in reducing and preventing Environmental Hazards. All scopes were in the area of new construction, new pipeline, work over rigs and production rigs; in and around chevron’s oil leases, water treatment plants and gas plants. Ensure that all rig hands and operators were compliant with Safety in Motion and that they followed Chevrons safety policies. I also ensure that all crews working on or around chevron property were trained and were aware of all hazards that may be present on
oil leases, water plants and gas plants. I was to ensure that Derik
hands were properly trained in fall protection and were able to
identified all possible hazards in their JSA. When observing the
crews working on the ground, I was to ensure that all rig hands were working within their scope of work, aware of all pinch points
that might be present and that they were in possession of their
personal H2S monitors. I had to make sure that all BP’s were
aware of all evacuation procedures and that they had access to all
MSDS’s. I also ensured that all rigs being used were current and
up to date on inspections.

Field Safety Manager My duties included overseeing and managing the safety programs
at the Loma Linda University Medical Center construction project
for Turner Construction. Some of my scopes were to ensure the
safety of all Turner employees and sub-contractors. I had
to keep track of all man hours then generate reports at the end of
each month I had to keep track of our safety
budget, generated Pre Task Plans for each project that took
place, conducted all orientations to Turner sub-contractors,
conducted investigations on all work place accidents and
incidents. I also ensured that all work areas met State and Federal
OSHA standards. My main concentration was to ensure everyone
who worked for Turner to use safe work practices.

Field Safety Engineer My duties included overseeing and managing
the safety program for the building and erection
of cooling towers. I was also in charge of making
sure the job site met all OSHA requirements as well
