Senior technician on site at Genworth Financial, a multi-billion dollar corporation whose investments and compliance groups are located in Stamford, Ct. Between April 2005 and February 2006 took part in the following projects as part of the split from GE Asset Management: NT 4.0 to Active Directory migration, desktop standardization, Group Policy development (local & A.D. Container), deployment of Symantec Livestate network management suite of applications. Responsibilities included maintaining printing and network fax environment, user shares on NetApp appliances including Qtree creation and snap mirrors over WAN connections. Oversaw level II help desk SLA rise from below 60 percent to consistently above 98 percent in both the Stamford user environment as well as a 75 user environment in Manhattan while setting up technology for Genworth's trading desk and disaster recovery directives.
