Dear Human Resources Manager
I am very much interested in a position as an Industrial/Commercial Electrician. I have many quality skills that I believe would be beneficial to your company.
I served as an apprentice in a service-oriented capacity for 2 years installing new systems and performing troubleshooting on existing ones. I then started extensively traveling throughout the United States working for “jobshop†technical/staffing agencies.
I learned to do PVC and Rigid conduit groundwork operations to Blueprint specs. and color code the various systems. Extensive use of hand, hydraulic, and electric benders up to3 inch. Bending a variety of types conduit such as Rigid, Thinwall, PVC Coated (Rob Roy), and IT Aluminum. A working knowledge of a variety of tools such as hotboxes, tuggers, lifts of all types, die threaders, and most any hand tool. I know the installation parts: Meyers hubs, T, C, LB, RB fittings, couplings, connectors for installing explosionproof, extrusion, aluminum, cast metals and their uses in various applications to OHSA and NEC code. The same with wiring and terminations on industrial and commercial projects. I am experienced in LOTO procedures and have performed under the tightest of industrial safety rule procedures and practice them on all jobs. MSDS/Chemical training. I am not adverse to working hard long hours on, hot, wet, mucky, steamy, greasy jobs 6-7 days a week 12 hours a day to get a job done. Proving myself I have been a leadman, crew leader, and foreman on different jobs. I also have some very valuable experience as a project/construction manager that I hope to expand on in the future studying online toward a BS degree in order to apply toward industrial/commercial projects for a company. I don’t drink or do a lot of partying, and believe in on time show up for work. I’m not a practicing stick in the mud either, having a good sense of humor and camaraderie with fellow workers.
I would very much welcome an opportunity to discuss my qualifications with you, and the opportunities of employment within your company.
I can be reached at (270) 231-5062 (cell) or a better contact is through my email listed above. I check my messages routinely and will be more that happy to contact you immediately upon notification.
Sincerely,
Gregory W. Rhodes
