Position consisted of overlooking and managing employees and subcontractors for new construction. Projects were design build at an average cost of $3½ + million. Residential with some commercial. My duties were: developing relationships with sub-contractors, blueprint review, directing employees and sub-contractors with scopes of work, scheduling, delegating contracts, corresponding to management and safety, familiarity with NYS Building Codes.
Through Bonacio Construction, I have completed a 10 hour OSHA standard Safety course, Fall Protection classes, PPE and also certified on equipment such as the lull, excavators, and basket lifts. I have also been a Safety Officer for the company, which had monthly safety meetings. Some strengths include renovation, daily reviews, developing agendas, communication and follow thru skills.

Also, to maintain and stay on time and on budget, incorporate proper paperwork for change orders, decision making and multi-tasking. Jobs involved were both residential, lt. commercial – new builds and restorations (mid-high end).

Selector/Hi-lift Operator; Supervisor – 7 years experience
Job consisted of identifying and selecting proper items for store orders (through labeling and UCN bar association), palletizing the orders, loading the orders and shipping them to their proper locations. Became supervisor after two years as a warehouse worker and took over the responsibilities of Team Leader, team scheduling and team meetings. Demonstrated good time management and decision making. Appointing and controlling all functions of department personnel on 2nd shift (average of about 35 employees at a shift). Expressed warehouse and OSHA safety regulations and maintained a clean environment. Coordinated with other departments (including sub-contractors) to mainstay a steady work flow and man hour coverage to reduce overtime, coordinate with yard jockey and trucking department to maintain a steady rotation of trailers to make depart times. Applied schedules and job functions on a weekly basis for both receiving and shipping.
Took part in department meetings and DC wide management meetings which discussed safety issues, DC wide variance (projections for man hours needed for each dept.) including sub-contractors and other DC related issues. Experience in QA; also experience with RF systems in the use to locate coordinates for the location and identification of product in the warehouse.
Hannaford Bros. is a billion dollar company who trained me in Management skills, teamwork, diversity, OSHA safety (over 16 hours of training courses), quality of work life, problem solving, meeting deadlines through negotiations with sub-contractors and proper decision making.

Laborer/Painter – 14 years experience
A small company founded by my father, I started as a part-time laborer and painter during the first year. Upon completion of high school, I worked full time learning all phases of construction with a hands-on approach. By 1989 I was able to control certain jobs as a Foreman. I became a Foreman for four years until 1993 when I became a Manager / Co-Owner for McFarland and Son. The final years (1993-1999) were full time with the company in which I dealt with sales, site management and negotiations.
Other: NYS Licensed Realtor, 2006.
Certification for lead removal (not lead abatement) for HUD rehabilitations.
