Managed consultant, construction manager and subcontractor activities for large and small renovation projects in operating pediatric hospital. Interacted with hospital internal clients to develop projects to meet requirements, and acted as primary point of owner contact for contractor requests for information, scheduling and system testing. Evaluated contractor proposals and applications for payment. Acted as primary designer for small, fast-track projects. Served as resource for training of newly graduated project managers and co-op students. Major projects completed include replacement of hospital chiller plant (2,200 tons), addition of a 750 MW emergency generator to existing 2250 MW power plant, and construction of interventional radiology suite.

Responsible for specification and technical review of a wide range of process control instrumentation for use in chemical and industrial process plants. Other duties included preparation of process flow diagrams, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and sequences of operation to define basic system function.

As Principal Test Engineer, responsible for direct supervision of a staff of test engineers. Also responsible for preparation and maintenance of design standards manual, and staff training. Worked with project startup field technicians to resolve problems during testing. Allocated resources as required to achieve plant startup schedule, monitored department man-hour budget, and project progress. As Test Engineer, responsible for preparation of instrument and control startup information packages, and technical review of vendor submittals for systems in a boiling-water reactor, nuclear-fueled power generating station.
