meetings, sub contractor’s meetings, contracts, requisitions , payments and scheduling,
reviewing all documentation pertaining to the project representing the contractor acting as the
liaison between management and the public works director I reviewed all
drawings, specifications and sk’s prior to construction and made corrective criticism to the

other structures. Additionally constructed a major loading dock inclusive of retaining walls with
tie backs. Oversaw Project managers, Superintendents, and Sub-contractors. Liaison between
Hospital Directors, Doctors, General Contractors, Architects and Engineers. Fully responsible
for the entire package. Total budget estimate was 46 M. Scheduling as well as safety was a primary
concern as well as adhering to the need and request of the staff.
Responsible for construction of a $ 30 M. Generator plant and kitchen facilities for Pilgrim
State Hospital located in central Suffolk Country NY. I renovated and updated the hospital
to the requirements that were set forth by the State of NY, all the federal agency that were involved,
plus the requirements set forth by the hospital. Resurrected two of the four sixteen story buildings.
The other two buildings were to be completed in phase two. Lear McGovern acted as the owner’s
Representatives. To under score the difficulty Of this project was the need for security. All the personal
working on this project were locked in to a sizable secure area to prevent the patient population attacking
Or inflicting any diseases on the worker. Just getting materials to the project was a major episode. I am
sure that anyone within the construction industry is well aware that rehab is considerable more demanding
than new construction. It requires you to think on your feet, there are no problems just solutions.
I coordinated all the construction activates between all the sub contractors and trades as well as all the
applicable municipal agencies.
