15,000 square feet fit out, finishes were a combination of high end veneers and casework blended with standard finishes to obtain an award winning look. Project completed on time and under budget by 10% or $60,000
EMMES Corp. – Rockville, MD
12,000 square foot fit out completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule, thus saving on operational cost.
Medical Associates of Arlington – Shirlington, VA
Build out of the first off campus physician offices for Virginia Hospital Center a 10,000 square foot build out that included a wireless network system for physician reporting., generated an additional $50,000 profit.
Rand Construction Corp October 2006 – September 2008
Project Manager
Manage a team of 2 assistant project managers and one project engineer.
Coordinate projects ranging in value of $300,000 to 4.5 million, with multiple projects of 4 to 5 projects for a total value of $10 million, in commercial interiors, retail and healthcare.
Projects include;
Bayer Office of Legislative Affairs – Washington, DC
10,000 square feet fit out (high end finishes) completed in an office/residential building with restrictive work rules – 1.6 million dollars. Completed on schedule and profited $80,000 for Rand and saved the client $45,000.

10,000 square feet fit out of new 911 call center – 2.5 million dollars, constructed state of the art facility in a secured building housing police, sheriff, justice offices as well as court rooms. Installed over 30 miles of electrical wires 35 miles of data and telephone cables and a totally independent HVAC system
Washington Hospital Center – Washington, DC
Renovated existing space in the Labor Delivery suite to make a new locker room, break area and a separate new 6 bed Triage/Holding area - $300,000 completed in a 24/7 occupied area.

15,000 square feet on 3 floors -, including a new HVAC upgrade for the commissioners floor, Original budget of $700,000 and completed at a cost including add-ons at 1.3 million and profited $150,000.

Lorton, VA – 1 million dollar fit out of new shell space into a 15 bed overnight dialysis center.
Fairfax, VA – in place 2 phase renovation of 28 chair facility - $750,000.

Senior Management Consultant
Provided specialized consulting services for facilities and support services in healthcare institutions.
Performed organizational assessment of support services in a large urban hospital, outcome of which led directly to the department being outsourced and creating a savings of $500,000.00 annually. Prepared RFP and assisted in negotiating contract.
Brokered a contract for a newly founded minority business and Children’s National Medical Center for services at all off site clinics. Prepared RFP response which included all technical and cost analysis.

Served as a regional project manager assigned to senior management where I served as the liaison for several highly visible and sensitive projects. Projects included;
Special assistant to the VP West Coast Operations to aid in implementation of a new $12 million dollar contract at 18 Tenet facilities.
Served as company delegate to the District of Columbia Hospital Associations Environmental Protection Committee.
