Mechanical Superintendent
• Oversaw $180 million of a $400 million project and met all mile stones for payment.
• Administered the installing of HRSG’S and all aspects of piping on the of the HRSG’S installing walls, liners, insulation; boiler tube bundles 12 each per unit, three steam drums per unit, platform steel top and sides and silencer steel.
• Worked with Quality Control on daily safety problems.
• Maintained daily contacts with Nooter / Eriksen and General Electric ensuring on time delivery of parts and equipment.
• In charge of ordering, buying and renting rigging equipment.
• Experience in working with my GF’S on heavy lifts, the tube bundle width from 480,000 LBS to 178,000 LBS and steam drums 478,000 LBS to 87,000 LBS.
• Supervised over 50 or more working men erecting (HRSG’S), pipe racks steel and operated unload equipment and pipe in lay down yard
• Performed weekly meetings administering pre-planned scheduling.
• Exercised daily FIR and FCO paperwork and monitored daily work with part time Nooter FTA. Conducted daily calls in regard to parts that came in damaged to Nooter’s home office and changed orders.

BLACK& VEATCH, Gateway Generation Project, Antioch, CA 3/2007-11/2007
Mechanical Superintendent.
• Oversaw $190 million of a $500 million PG&E project.
• In charge of managing 2X2X1 Vogy-Nem HRSG’S all parts, bundles, looked over piping, HRSG’S pipe rack steel and STG steel.
• Worked with Quality Control department on stress relieving welds.
• Handled and managed a difficult, complicated project with the 5-year interruption, change of ownership and major design deterioration changes. The interruption occurred after major equipment was manufactured with serious guaranteed impact’s material, material losses, etc. Ownership changes caused disruption in continuity and responsibility. A change to Air Cooling Condenser from Cooling Tower was to major technical and construction impact on all aspects of the project.
BLACK & VEATCH Manchester, Ohio 1/2006- 3/2007
Mechanical Superintendent Oversaw a $350 million (AQX) project for a DPL Power Company.
• Supervised three different Contractors on Night Shift including electricians, pipe fitters, and painters, conducted millwright and repair on the stack inside installing brick and stainless steel liner duct.
• Responsible for daily Safety and scheduled meetings with Superintendent and safety personnel.
• Installed the Quality Control Scrubber (AQX) system which involved in the FRP piping, fiberglass duct work and glass line duct, all the electrical installing and unloaded all equipment.
• Managed the night shift and one safety person for 10 months because all three contractors were 4 1/2 month behind, and finished on schedule.
SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT (SMUD), Sacramento CA 3/2003-12/2005
Project Manger II Oversaw a $480, million project, managed over contractors, traveled to fabrication shops in the USA and Mexico to ensure parts were constructed correctly to the drawing specifications.
• Supervised, managed Heat Recovery Steam Generators, General Electric Gas Tribune, Condensers, tanks and pipe rack.
• Managed, coordinated all daily constructions activities on site. The daily project scheduling, welding work with QC on stress relieving, was in charge of all piping and welds.
• In charge of all pressure Hydro of boiler tubes, pipe and mapping out of hydro plans.
• Processed daily FIR and FCO paper work.
• SMUD removed the first contractor as the project was 5 months behind schedule, and brought in three other contractors to finish the project on time.
• In charge of 300 to 500 men working at different times in two shifts.
NOOTER / ERIKSEN, Fenton, MO 12/1999-1/2003
Field Technical Advisor Oversaw $88 million project in Hermiston Oregon. In charge of all material parts shipped on site and shipping all tube bundles by rail to the job site.
• Checked daily on Nooter parts and piping delivered on scheduled time and damaged parts delivered or if the contractor wanted to have them delivered ahead of schedule.
• Worked with Nooter engineering and Contractor on daily engineering designs & changes.
• Helped contractors with RFI’s and FCO paper work.
• Supervised all piping stress relief and installing pipe.
• Worked with contractors’ on their three week preplanned schedules.
• Had daily meeting with contractors and kept communications open with all construction teams.
M&W CONTRACTOR, East Peoria, IL 1995-1999
Pipefitter/Supervisor Helped build 5 soybean plants Con-Agra Inc. throughout the Midwest (Iowa, Nebraska, & Missouri).
• Supervised 7-10 pipefitters and welders.
• Oversaw timelines to complete projects on time and under budget.
FLUOR-DANIELS, Greenville SC 1994-1995
Pipefitter Performed rebuilds and repaired shutdowns for Nuclear power plants.
• Worked with engineers to verify quality of all labor and materials.
• Completed detailed documentation on every piece of work to insure safety and repair consistency.
PACE POWER CONTRACTORS, INC., Santa Ana, CA 1993-1994
Night Project Superintendent Conducted major retrofit on gas fired boilers, removed all Super Heat, Reheat, Economizer panels out, re-installed back in, had 2000 welds, 98% good, x-ray and had only two bad welds on night shift.
• Worked on air heater, had 80 men working from boilermakers, millwrights, labors, operators and had no loss of accidents.
