I have successfully taken projects ranging up to $600 million from Schematic-Design to Post-Construction. My 28 years’ experience covers both on and off-site responsibilities in Construction Project Management, estimating and scheduling for both public and private sector clients on open and closed bids and Job Order Contracts.
I have worked with Success, Oral, Timberline, Comsoft, Earthworks, Access, Expedition, Prolog and other software applications; I have served as a Primavera SureTrack, P3 trainer and received P6 certification in 08; also proficient in MS Project. I believe in strong communication and team work. I have successfully negotiated over 2,000 Change Orders settling all disputes in arbitration (have avoided mitigation and litigation). I am also a licensed structural inspector with current CCM, BATC and OSHA-10 Certificates.
I received the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Outstanding Performance Award twice in 2007; I was awarded MVP Award in 2005 for exceptional handling of a hazardous material emergency on a demolition contract for the State of Nevada at LVCVA. I received bonus for completing two school additions in seven months for Clark County School District in 2000, and in 1990 with Micron upon completion of the biosphere for a job well done. In 1996, I organized and headed a joint military/civilian team winning the Department of Defense’ Worldwide Hennessy Award for service contract management with a record perfect score beating out Japan.
I enjoy my work and strive to make a difference, inspire others and build relationships. I am focused, detailed, and analytical; also set my own standards high. I believe in sharing knowledge and helping others. I believe any team is only as good as its weakest link.
Sincerely,
Dee Sundermann
