Was responsible, on this self perform project, for incorporating a thorough construction plan for the execution and installation of 70 (each 3 feet in diameter by 35 feet in depth) augured piers beneath critical foundations. Was also responsible for the installation of 2,200 lineal feet of reinforcement concrete duct bank with 20,000 lineal feet of rgs and pvc conduit
• Modifications were made to the switchyard with the installion of dead-end structures and the relocation of some existing Current Transformers.
• Stringing new cable and static wire for the 69kv transmission lines completed the team’s scope of work. Project was managed from the home office along with performing estimates for future projects.
Whelan Energy Center Unit 2, Hastings, Nebraska, Construction Consultant (2008-2009)
Was a member of a construction management team with responsibility for coordinating construction activities for multiple subcontractors to help mitigate schedule impacts with the overall project schedule.
• In addition to scheduling responsibilities, monitored cost, safety, quality and productivity for the addition of 2,200 megawatts of power generation to an existing coal burning power facility.
Pioneer Prairie Project, McIntire, Iowa, Construction Consultant (2008)
Was responsible on this self perform project for incorporating a thorough construction plan, directing all coordination activities and for overseeing the execution for construction of all major foundations for two substations (All were integral parts of a substantial Wind Turbine project for Horizon Energy).
Emporia Energy Center Project, Emporia, Kansas, Project Field Manager (2007-2008)
Was responsible on this self perform, direct hire project for the management of all aspects of a large industrial project with a peak manpower of just over 300 people.
• This project entailed the installation of four gas only GE supplied LM6000 Aero derivative units and three GE supplied base mounted 7FA 60HZ gas turbines in simple cycle, along with an accompanying 34.5 KV switchyard.

• In Parish, Florida, was responsible for managing all aspects of the project (project controls and integrating a detailed construction and start-up schedule superimposed with the client’s schedule in support of the 1500 MW plant outage) Was directly responsible for the safety and productivity to perform all civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work for the installation and commissioning of two 2,250 KW diesel generators and paralleling switchgear. Also scheduled and coordinated several sub contractors and was the sole daily client interface on this project.
• In Indiantown, Florida, was responsible for supervising all civil, mechanical and electrical work (consisting of underground utilities, foundations, underground fuel oil piping and all electrical and start-up of two 2,250 KW diesel generators along with paralleling switchgear).
• In Fort Myers, Florida, was responsible for supervising all civil, mechanical and electrical work in installing all underground utilities, foundations, double wall fuel oil piping and above ground conduit raceways and cable for three 2,250 KW diesel generators and one paralleling switchgear in an operating power plant.
6th Street Water Treatment Plant Improvements Project, United Water of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Was the Construction Manager (2005-2006), with responsibility for overseeing the daily activities in the construction of a water treatment plant within an existing facility and for managing and coordinating subcontractors in installing three 5MGD Infilco Degremont Densadeg high rate clarifier/thickeners on a fast-track, design-build schedule. Was the sole interface with the client and coordinated engineering.

Civil General Foreman (2001-2002)
Was responsible for managing the daily operations with the construction of three combustion turbine generator units, three steam turbine generator units along with three herzag’s for a 1,050 MW capacity combined cycle power plant. Responsibilities entailed the performance of productivity, safety and quality for 22 foreman and 260 craft personnel.

Land Development Restoration Project, FMC/Astaris, Pocatello, Idaho, Civil Superintendent (2000-2001)
As a member of the Construction Management Team, was responsible for managing and coordinating schedules, budgets, manpower and safety on three large expansion projects and one furnace rebuild of an existing phosphorus plant. All projects were fast-track with an estimated cost of $200 million dollars. All were completed under budget and ahead of schedule and in compliance with all safety regulations.
Worked with J.E. Merit Constructors as a Civil Superintendent (1999-2000) on the P6.2 Expansion, Stockhausen project in Greensboro, South Carolina. Prior to that worked with Modern Continental South as Civil Superintendent (1998) on a project for SMI Steel in Cayce, South Carolina and also worked for Baker Concrete Construction on a project for Bridgestone Firestone in Aiken, South Carolina as a Carpenter Foreman (1998).
