Field Inst.Superintendent at Barrick Goldstrike Mine in Carlin, Nevada. Performed field supervision for upgrading process instrumentation and control systems which concerned level, temperature, pressure, flow, pH to increase productivity on Barrick’s CIL, milling, crushing, acid/neutralization and pre-oxidation autoclave. Facility also managed construction of two grinding circuits, crushing/conveyor system, five pre-oxidation autoclave plants, steam and water treatment generation projects.

Performed supervision of calibration, installation and start-up of a natural gas desulfurization and process plant in Gaviota, California.

Newmont Gold Company Rain Project - Participated in the construction, calibration, loop check and start-up of the project. Particular application consisted of interfacing board-mounted process controllers to a Gould Modicon P.L.C. for the controlled processing of ore.

Exxon’s LaBarge Well-site Facility - Installed, calibrated, function-tested and started up instrumentation for the well-site facility. This particular effort included the verification of a remote terminal network servicing twenty (20) well sites and bringing their signals through gateway modules to a Bailey Net-90 computer-based control system.

Exxon’s Shute Creek Gas Dehydration Project - Installed, calibrated, function-tested and started up instrumentation for the gas dehydration facility. This project was worked in conjunction with the aforementioned well-site project. Again, the primary controller was a Bailey Net-90 computer based control system.
