Human Resource Manager
I am seeking a challenging position with an innovative and progressive stable company in the construction industry with an opportunity for advancement based on skills and job performance where my leadership and creative approach to problem solving will make me an asset as an individual and as a team player. I have 30+ years experience in the construction industry involved in estimating, roadway and pipeline inspection, surveying and drafting as well as having 20+ years in construction management in the position of a field superintendent. I have supervisory field experience in additions, fit out/refurbish, new out of the ground, commercial, industrial and residential construction on both union and non-union projects with multiple nationalities. I have supervised as many as +50 craft workers on one site. My certifications are: American Society of Professional Estimators - Certified in Concrete Estimating, OSHA HAZWOPER 40 and FEMA IS-100 Incident Command Center.
As a construction estimator I have been responsible for doing quantity take-offs from blueprints and specifications, pricing of material and man-hours for multiple disciplines i.e. civil, heavily reinforced concrete, carpentry, mechanical, piping and pipe supports, pipelines, electrical, instrumentation and controls, equipment and vessels, etc., with the use of estimating software.
On every project I diligently review and coordinate all material, vendor and subcontractor schedules and manpower loading on a continual basis to ensure consistently delivering ‘safe’ in-budget and on-time completion of projects that exceed client expectations. I strive for the ingredients for a ‘Perfect Job’ which is to have a ‘seasoned’ team so real TEAMWORK can be achieved and with TEAMWORK that allows for consistently delivering ‘safe’ projects with “0†man-hours lost due to injuries.
I am available to travel up to 100%, willing to take a national or international position and open to discussion on relocation anywhere. I have a working status of single with no children which allow me to travel to wherever the project may be and devote myself 100% to a project.
My hobby interests are hunting, fishing, fast old hot rods and custom Harley motorcycles. I own a customized 1984 Harley, 1967 Ford 427 Cobra kit car and a 1969 Plymouth 440 GTX convertible. I have over ten years experience as a fire fighter, pump operator and first aid.
Thank you for this opportunity and your consideration in this matter.
Sincerely,
William D. Leseberg
