SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
My experience in the construction industry over these past 29 years has brought me to a multitude of projects and roles that have developed my skills in leadership, customer service, troubleshooting issues, management of multiple projects and tasks, budget and cost control, as well as my overall knowledge of the construction industry and its many components. It is my belief that with these skill sets that my addition to your organization would assist in the continued development and profitability of that organization and myself.
I personally started in the construction industry in the early 1980’s as a Master Carpenter. It was a short period of time until I was managing projects, providing constructability review assistance, budget development and management, as well as developing project schedules and construction work time lines. During my career I have been a key part of multiple development projects, i.e. St. Louis Airport expansion project, a 342 million renovation project to the St. Louis Airport Terminal, The Winghaven property development, the infrastructure, the new MasterCard headquarters, along with multiple office, wireless communication towers/ systems, and residential structures. My experience has also included the design build of hotels, churches, and wastewater treatment plants. In addition to these forms of construction and development I can pleasingly state that I have also played a major role in the construction and management of facilities such as higher education, i.e. Maryville University, Truman University, educational facilities K-12, Mehlville ADA Renovations, Parkway North East renovation, Weidman School addition, and many others. I also have experience in Correctional Facilities, i.e. 128 Bed Maximum to Minimum facility in Newnan Georgia, a 105 Bed facility in Las Vegas and one in Reno Nevada. I have built bridges, sound wall systems, cellular towers, sports complexes, ice rinks, medical office facilities, parking garages, libraries, box culverts, and many other projects.
In addition to my years of field experience, I also have extensive experience in project management, personnel management, cost management, budget development, change management, project scheduling, project estimating, and code compliance and review.
