Managed the demolition of multiple floor space and installation of 2 Caterpillar Gen Sets and fuel oil system. Tie in to electrical service. The installation of 46 - 3†conduits through multi tenant occupied office space working 2 shifts of tradesmen, reconstruction of ceilings, build out of aluminum sheeting lined sheet rock enclosures to accommodate conduit risers. Installation of 3 pre-action systems relocated multiple sprinkler lines to accommodate conduit runs. Tie in to existing CHW system that serviced several server rooms (freeze seal and valve tie in) coordinating with several property management firms and chief engineers. Structural steel installation for the support of conduit risers and generator support w/grating and access hatches.
MEP Superintendent, 2007 to 2008
$95M Landmark building office renovation project, over 640,000 sqft (229 West 43rd Street, New York, NY).
Managed a new steam station & steam heat renovation, New Chilled water system connecting to existing chillers and new chemical feed station installed. 6 new electrical services / decommissioning of 4 services & respected switchgear rooms. Installation of new fire protection system (combined) and 2 dry systems. New water distribution system using existing roof tank, roof drains, and pneumatic controlled sewage ejector and new core bathrooms. Conducted weekly inspection with NYFD during demolition phase and through out project. Removal of existing gas service. Worked with various city agencies to include NYCDEP, NYCDOB, extensively with NYFD & Con Edison.
