ADMINISTRATION: REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS/TECHNOLOGY

SUPERVISION: ORGANIZATION/MANAGEMENT/PROBLEM-SOLVING
Oversee field operations as project superintendent and provide necessary how-to for project completion.
Manage labor force and coordinate with tradesmen on site. Insure effective communication between office and field to help keep projects on-time and in budget.
Work along with city inspectors and insure that projects are ‘up to code’ and consistent with all regulatory ordinances and requirements throughout all phases of construction.
Demonstrate hands-on tradesman-ship in building: Concrete, Framing, Insulation, MSDW, Tape & Bed, Flooring, Paint, Specialties Assembly, Equipment Operation and an necessary understanding of dirt-work, soils-testing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and licensed trades.

Projects as Construction Coordinator…and several other titles I didn’t anticipate (2004 to 2007):
♦Studied the Albanian language with a host family for one month in the city of Lushnje, Albania and then studied under a village teacher in Gorre for the remainder of my three-year activation.
♦Translated English songs into Albanian, and compiled a comprehensive list of local songs as well.
♦Taught guitar/piano in Lushnje and Gorre in the Albanian language (30 students). Translated Music lessons from English into Albanian (guitar/piano) 2004 to 2007.
♦Lead activities for two youth groups in the villages of Gorre and Lifaj, Albania. Organized events, and humanitarian projects/community service and concerts as sole organizer. 2004 to 2007.
♦Worked along with a Tirana-based studio to translate several American videos into the Albanian language (transcription) . 2005.
♦Worked along with Albanian government leaders, U.S. and International non-profits (i.e. Samaritan’s Purse), and other humanitarian organizations to orchestrate multi-directional humanitarian projects throughout different regions of Albania, and have corresponding involvements in Macedonia and Greece (Korfu) as well. 2004 to 2007.
♦Lead U.S. based construction crews to execute construction projects in the Myzeqe region and in Tirana. 2004 to 2007.
♦Piloted a small business effort for a local business initiative in Gorre, Albania, including a business exposition in Greece. 2006 to 2007.
♦Helped to train a local village teacher in Microsoft Office, to furnish/equip a computer lab in Gorre, Albania (US supplied) and assisted as a co-teacher in the preliminary stages of the course.
♦Helped to furnish, lisence, build, and start a kindergarten in the village of Gorre, Albania. 2004 to 2007.
♦Have experience in cross-cultural situations and have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean.
