SAFETY MANAGER/ SAFETY COORDINATOR
 Responsibilities included conducting drug screenings and ID screenings, as well as training and orientation of all employees, including administrative personnel, supervision, which included Operations and Maintenance personnel.
 Conducted and maintained documentation concerning employee safety audits, PPE and safe work practices by employees, and oversight of LOTO program.. Conducted and maintained safety audits on all hand tools as well as heavy equipment, scaffolding and work platforms, insulation, and fall protection.
 Enforced all OSHA related situations, from speed limits on site as well as instituting a program to enforce safe driving practices by employees on company property, to Fall Protection, crane awareness, safety in scaffolding and its uses, and the dangers concerning start up of a new facility.
 Trained, directed and monitored all safety personnel, including subcontractors, concerning the safety standards of Colorado Energy.

SITE SAFETY MANAGER
 Responsibilities included conducting drug, ID screenings as well as training and orientation of all employees, new or existing personnel.
 Conducted and maintained employee safety audits, pertaining to PPE and safe work practices. Directed, trained and monitored safety personnel in order to improve the safety program which was incorporated on site.
 Implemented an accident/incident reporting procedures, and medical treatment/first aid plan. With Construction Management, set up and coordinated LOTO for Electrical Safety, Scaffold and Insulation safety training, and Ensured reports were submitted properly and in a timely manner.
 As manager, had oversight of all required scaffold and work platform construction, insulation and its proper handling, and there maintenance, records, safety training of scaffold erection crews, and safe practices.
 Identified hazardous conditions, and issued reports to project management. I investigated injury, illness and other loss producing incidents to determine the root causes and potential corrective action, and measures to be taken. I developed a job specific safety, hazard analysis and emergency action plans, which were then submitted to Project Management for review and implantation.

 Supervised all individuals assigned to my crews which were working in a specific designated area during the Hurricane Rita rebuild.
 Responsibilities included safety in pole climbing, electrical hazards, traffic control and flagmen. Conducted daily safety meetings, safety inspections of all equipment, as well as inspecting trucks used in transport and repair of communication equipment. Documented and retained daily reports, JSA, crew audits, equipment audits, inspections of personal PPE and equipment.
 Traveled daily to inspect additional work areas and installations, for proper safety practices and traffic control.
