SANG King Fahad Hospital is a 500-bed hospital managed by the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). It was during my term that the hospital was accredited by the U.S.-based Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAH) – among others, for quality and high standard of cleanliness/ services.
I prepared the approved hospital’s Housekeeping Policies and Procedures Manual and the Pest Control Procedures Manual. As Housekeeping Director, my duties and responsibilities include the following:
a). Prepare budget, operate within the budget and submit timely reporting of expenditures.
b). Determine/approve required supplies and equipment purchases as needed.
c). Establish/implement policies and procedures, quality assurance system and work standards/work flow.
