ïµ Lineworker requires expert knowledge of the principles and theories of electrical power distribution, familiarity with electrical codes, regulations and procedures, and the ability to use the tools and equipment of the electrical trades. Judgment is required to select from and apply a variety of guidelines, references and policies. Work assignments are carried out independently after the supervisor sets priorities and assigns personnel and equipment.

o Repairs or replaces defective high voltage conductors, insulators and related hardware.
o Repairs or replaces all overhead and non-network underground transformers.
o Inspects and troubleshoots electrical power transmission, distribution or traffic light circuits.
