Academic Background:
I graduated Floyd E. Kellam High School in 1998. I then went on to enlist in the United States Navy. I was sent to a 1 year trade school to be an electrician. I was also sent to a specialty school for winches and motor controllers. I attended a 40 hour Hazwoper training course for hazmat safety. I also attended the Contractor Safety Orientation for Oxy. I am a California State licensed contractor C-10 for electrical License Number: 926319.
Professional Background:
November 2008 to Present
I currently work as a field technician for MDTotco. I maintain and install equipment for drilling rigs that require monitoring instrumentation equipment. The work includes: Installation and repair of both manual and self-aligning Satellite systems; Wireless network installation and troubleshooting; sonic sensors for monitoring volume; proximity sensors for various applications; Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Rigsense computer software which is a windows based program for monitoring all our sensors.
March 2007 to November 2008
I completed preventative maintenance, repairs and installation of new equipment for 4 land based drilling rigs. The work included: Installing lighting, installing water heaters, air conditioning units, fans, variable frequency drives, transformers, battery chargers for emergency equipment including 12vdc lighting, installing conduit for outdoor applications, installing explosion proof fixtures and motors, running cable ways and cable trays, installing explosion proof plugs and receptacles.
I troubleshot and repaired variable speed drives, plc's, and human interface touch screen controls using VICIS and OIDM control systems. I worked on wireless communications including rig sense and wireless access points. I worked on satellite communications including datastorm.
The test equipment that I used includes: Multimeter, Ampmeter, Megger(digital and hand), milliamp meter, channel chaser(for fiber optic cables), Processmeter, and voltage tester wand.
I have a good working knowledge of Windows 98, Windows XP (home and professional), and windows vista. I also have a good working knowledge of outlook, excel, and word.
I am a self motivated hard charger. I work until the job is complete without short cuts. I am a great team member and or leader. I share knowledge that I obtain with my coworkers to strengthen our team.

I worked for Drewelow Remediations Equipment as a field technician. The work included: Installing thermostats, indicator lights, variable speed drives, electric motors, pumps, fans, and relay circuits. I troubleshot and repaired vacuum systems and burners, took air samples and fuel samples to be shipped to labs. I maintained a service vehicle, my test equipment, and my repair parts and tools. I maintained a fleet of vapor extraction units from Central California to the Los Angeles area.
