Project Engineer
• Duties: Manage and process project documentation as required by contract documents. Also manage and process documentation as required for State funded projects in Michigan and Ohio including LEED information, EDGE, Equal Employment Opportunity, Drug Free Work Place, MOST, MUST and OSHA. Responsible for reviewing and processing start-up documentation, processing all submittals using Primavera Expedition Project Management Software and Prolog Construction Project Management Software, processing Construction Bulletins and RFIs, and working with subcontractors to develop associated take-offs and quotes for submittal to the client. Computer management and networking setup on job sites for use during construction.
• Projects:
 University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center First Floor Renovations (2007): A $10 million expansion of the lower level of the Cardiovascular Building to provide additional Cardiovascular Imaging Areas, Research Areas and Laboratories, Patent Exam Rooms, Reception Areas, Nurses Stations, Office Space Conference Rooms, and Storage.
 Hawkins Elementary School (2008): A $4.7 million new construction of a 60,000 square foot, two-story School Facility. This masonry construction building was funded by the state of Ohio and Toledo Public Schools. It was the first project for the Toledo Public Schools “Building for Success†program to incorporate LEED for Schools Design and Construction Standards. A.Z. Shmina, Inc. performed the General Trades prime contract and was responsible for the management and control of the entire project including all other primes.
Project Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent
• Duties: Controlled and managed all on site operations in the construction of Ohio School Facilities Commission funded school projects. Tasks managed include Quality Control; project schedule management; subcontractor and prime contractor scheduling and coordination; producing short term look-ahead schedules for coordination and for visual aid to the client; Managing, Scheduling and leading meetings and other client communications; Request for Information submission and management using Prolog; coordination and review of subcontractor Product Submittals using Primavera Project Management Software; appropriate implementation and control of materials used in on the project according to approved submittals; any city, state and other inspections, permits and code compliance as required; project Start-up and Close-out procedures and documentation; keeping record of project progress and events by creating daily reports, project reviews and meeting minutes; and responsible for safety, security and all OSHA requirements. Computer management and networking setup on job sites for use during construction. Basic carpentry and repair skills to perform task as needed.
• Projects:
 New Elmhurst Elementary School Toledo, Ohio (2007): A $3.7 million new construction of an Ohio Schools Facility Commission and Toledo Public Schools elementary school. A 54,000 square foot masonry school building consisting mostly of classroom space and including a computer laboratory, a full sized gym with sports flooring and retractable basketball backboards, cafeteria and kitchen, office space and specialized construction including accommodations for developmentally disabled and ADA accessibility requirements, a high temperature kiln for the art facilities, advanced audio visual systems installed in each teaching area and conference area, advanced security system designed for management from remote and mobile locations, building wide data and communications system that is integrated in the Toledo Public Schools intranet.
 New DeVeaux Middle School, Toledo, Ohio (2006): A $7.1 million new construction of an Ohio Schools Facility Commission and Toledo Public Schools middle school. An 85,000 square foot, two story masonry school building consisting mostly of classroom space and including a full sized gym with retractable seating, wrestling equipment, locker rooms and floating wood floor, a floating wood floor stage, a cafeteria and kitchen, an auditorium, music and band practice facilities, home economics facilities, scientific laboratories, computer laboratories, office space and specialized construction including accommodations for developmentally disabled and ADA accessibility requirements, a high temperature kiln for the art facilities, advanced audio visual systems installed in each teaching area and conference area, advanced security system designed for management from remote and mobile locations, building wide data and communications system that is integrated in the Toledo Public Schools intranet.

Project Engineer
• Duties: Day to day management of multifamily commercial construction. Coordination of daily activities according to plans and specifications, scheduling using Microsoft Project, management of project change orders, material management, client communications such as weekly reports and conferences, architect communications such as Requests for Change Orders and Architect’s Supplemental Information. Coordinating field information and documentation with the company’s main office by means of electronic transfer using tools such as Citrix and document scanning and electronic transfer.
• Projects:
 Aspenwood Senior Living Community Renovations (2005): A $3.7 million renovation of a 130 unit Senior Living Community including two major additions to common areas in the building, 21 smaller 3 story additions to designated units throughout the building, an installation of a Swim in place therapy pool in the basement of the building, renovations to floor plan layouts in common areas and at the main entrance, and a complete refinishing of the corridors and existing common areas.
 The Delight At Fairwood Condominiums (2006): Involved in the turnover phase of the units at an $8 million new construction of a Condominium Building. Units consisted of a minimum of 1800sf high quality construction including solid wood floors and a extravagant master bathrooms.
 Wienberg Village 4: $8.7 million new construction of a 4 story, 100 unit Senior Living Community Building. Characteristics include one and two bedroom units, handicap units, office space, activity areas and common facilities.

• Duties: Managed files, logs and organization of standard procedures during the execution of the nearly all construction projects. Coordinate contract administration including execution and signing of contracts, bonds and contract addenda.
