To use my wealth of experiance to obtaine a job and help train people to work safely in a timely manner and learn from my mistakes without having to learn the hard school of not paying attention and lost time accidents. TO date I have well over 5800 working days without a LOST TIME accident.
OBJECTIVE; I desire to use my experience to obtain a position as Drilling Consultant,Tool Pusher, Crew Pusher, Driller,or any position that is available. I am willing to relocate if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS; I have worked in the oilfield since 1974 in N.M., TX., CO., WYO., N.D., S.D., ID., UT., OK., Ks.,and Canada. I helped R.L.Manning rig up and drill a well in the Great Salt Lake in Utah with a barge mounted rig as a consultant. I am trained and certified to run FLEX-4 & 5-Topdrive-diesel-electric w/computers and the newer I.D.M. Hydraulic-Top drive and rotary Rigs w/computers and joystick controls. I am also certified to run anything from a 125 National w/ 500 ton derrick to a N-4-Brewster Skytop. If it drills I can run it.
**** When Beredco Drilling decided to put their rigs back in service, they hired me and my crew to disassemble, retool and get them ready to put in the field. We rebuilt rigs 1-2-4-6 and 10, and found two other rigs in the scrap pile that Beredco didn’t realize they had. I was a Drilling Consultant on rigs 1, 2, and 4. I pushed tools on rigs 6, 10, and 8 and also consulted on same. These wells were drilled in the Atoka and Granite wash in the Panhandle of Texas to the average depth of 12 to 16 thousand feet. Some of these wells were directional.

I take special pride in the fact that I have drilled for over 20yrs as a consultant. I pushed tools for several different oilfield service companies, and never had a lost time accident on my watch. To date, I have over 5800 work days without any lost time accidents. I have taught numerous men to push tools and drill. Overview of Casing Experience
1974-1976: I worked for Weatherford Lamb in Casper, WY. Clay Crabtree, Randy Dean and Pete Lathum.
1976-1977: Clay & Louis Crabtree started Casper Equipment i.e. casing company and laydown machines. I worked long enough for them to build a laydown machine and tong truck.
1977-1980: I started Layright Pipe & Eagle Casing Co. with Rex Shepard, Randy Dean and Brad Davis. We opened offices in Wamsutter, Rawlins, Riverton and Casper WY. We sold the company in late 1980 and signed a 5 year non-competing contract in Wyoming.
1982-1985: I started Big Bear Casing Co. and moved it to southwest Colorado. During that time the oilfield business bottomed out and I sold to Nichols Casing Crews out of Oklahoma City. I went to work for them in Guymon OK. as store manager/crew pusher/sales rep. We ran over $100,000.00 a month thru that office alone. I worked for them until my wife passed away the first day of 1990. At that point I decided to change directions and went to work for Cheyenne Drilling Co. as Drilling Consultant and Tool Pusher/troubleshooter. Most of my sales contacts are working for major oil and gas companies in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota and Idaho.
If you have any questions you can contact Ron Bolin, Drilling Superintendent for K. P. Kauffman, Ft. Lupton, Co. (303-944-9891).
Thank you for your time,
Jim Greenwood
