To represent my employer to the best of my abilities so that together we can be prosperous, and grow to a lasting working relationship evolved from trust along with experience in the plumbing, and mechanical trades. My diverse background allows for me to be an extremely valuable asset in many facets.
With approximately 20 years of experience I believe that my credentials and interests match with your requirements, and I would like to apply for the position. This job description fit my skill set extremely well. An opportunity to present myself to you will provide evidence of my desire to be involved with your Company and how my personal history can be an asset in this endeavor.
When I began in this industry as a teenage kid I worked many aspects of the construction trades such as framer, Truss Builder, Iron worker, General Laborer, Site Utility worker, light electrical, and a few others. In my early twenties I was introduced to the commercial side of plumbing which has been my primary career. My strong ability to be diverse has allowed me to have worked in the service and tenant improvement field for some of the area’s largest mechanical contractors. I have equipped myself with many personal skill sets like managing personnel, working foreman, and many specialty licenses/ certifications such as the Seattle Fuel Gas pipe installer license, Medical Gas License, and many more. Also I am very well tooled including pretty much any hand tool that can be thought of, and a very large selection of power tools. Adversity is a challenge that I thrive on. Along with being very well versed in the trade of Plumbing, and General Construction practices I am a very active volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Stevens, and the Lake Stevens Youth Soccer Club where I donate my time as a Head Coach for multiple sports.
Although I enjoy my present career, I am earning a degree in Project Management. By doing this I hope to open new opportunities in the construction field. I will be looking forward to your response to arrange a personal meeting and discuss this prospect.
Regards,
William Clay Cornelius.
