Description of duties:
My primary duties were to produce accurate CAD drawings per engineer’s red-lined comments for construction on multi-million dollar cement, rock and gravel producing facility north of the Paulden area while in communication with a multi-national group of engineers on a daily basis. Drafting of structural and foundation plans were my primary duty. I also did drafting of electrical wiring flow charts and ducting location.

Description of duties:
My duties included the following: Restructured and organized department filing system, maintained computer files and integrity, produced maps for Tribal use and to share with consultants to find solutions to environmental issues. Maps were produced using ArcMAP (v.9.2) and AutoCAD 2000. I served on the Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical committee, served as liaison with the BIA and BLM offices, local engineers and realtors regarding off-reservation property and assets. I prepared Vendor lease agreements, prepared schedules and department agendas, attended Director’s meetings as needed. In producing maps, I utilized GPS equipment to locate items such as artifacts, manhole covers, water and sewer valves and well locations. My experience with topographic maps, CAD and aerial photography used to create detailed maps of the reservation was invaluable to the Tribe.

Description of duties:
As planning Assistant/CAD drafter, it was my responsibility to work on commercial parking lot design of traffic ingress and egress, hydrologic flow, environmental impact, design and usage consistent with county/city zoning in the production of drawings. Other tasks I did were Lot/Tie and Lot/Split drawings for clients and plan/profile issues for various clients. The version of AutoCAD that I used was AutoCAD 2007 Civil 3D.
