The following letter will tell you a little bit about me in addition to the attached resume. Please note: all projects with which I have been involved have been profitable and successfully closed out with all change orders processed, final payments received and funding distributed accordingly. My focus is on providing solutions not looking for problems. In addition to being detail oriented and organized, I believe in providing the highest quality possible for the customer.
As my resume reflects, I have worked on both large and small projects and consistently provide the same attention to detail on all projects. My experience includes working as the Construction Manager, Owner’s Representative through Administrative Assistant, estimator and several times as the Superintendent in addition to the project management duties. I have always established excellent working relationships with Owners, Architects, Contractors, Subcontractors and various building department officials. I have pulled a profit out of every job, while creating relationships with the building department inspectors that have been beneficial to the projects. I have experience working not only for the general contractors but also directly for the owners and/or developers. References are available.
Professionally, I am able to multi-task the numerous responsibilities associated with the project management of both large corporations and smaller construction companies. My drive for success, combined with a high level of self-motivation, has proven instrumental in my successes.
I am attaching my updated resume for your review. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss any project/position you may have at this time or are expecting to have in the near future. I understand the construction industry has slowed down drastically in this recession. It is very difficult to get the work especially when you are now one of 10 or 15 bidders, and sometimes harder to get paid for the work done. In our economy, where every dollar counts, I believe I will be an asset to your company.
