· Responsible for final review of contracts prior to execution

· Reviewed three current contracts in excess of $500,000.00 each identifying payment/reporting discrepancies
· Compiled a potential change order for over $600,000 that will be litigated over in the near future

Ufheil Construction Co Inc. August 1971 to December 2000
Oradell, NJ
This was a mid sized family owned union affiliated company that specialized in Public Agency, commercial and residential utility and road construction projects. Our specialties included the installation of sanitary sewer mains and services, water mains and services, storm drains, small bridge and culvert installation, gabion, concrete and block retaining wall systems, traffic signalization, concrete curb and sidewalk installation, and complete roadway construction. Our projects ranged in size from as small as $15,000.00 to as large as $5,000,000.00. During the late 1970’s and early 1980’s a second company (Arvak Construction) was formed that dealt only in the non-union private home building industry. At our peak our yearly sales volume between both companies was in excess of $10,000,000.00. As a family member and partial owner of each company my duties were multifaceted.
Duties Included:
· Responsible for Financial Operation of both Ufheil & Arvak Construction Companies
· Prepared Weekly Payroll for upward of 150 employees & all Certified Payroll Reports
· Prepared Quarterly Payroll Tax Reports, accounts payable, over saw the job cost system for both companies
· Oversaw the preparation of contracts, initial contract negotiation, maintained necessary paperwork to insure prompt payment
· Responsible for development and presentation of contract claims and change orders
· Prepared all contract invoices as well as the collection of payments due
· Responsible for filing all union reports and dealing with union representatives
· Facilitated daily planning meetings to schedule up to 10 work crews ensuring a smooth transition from job to job
· Assisted in Field Supervision and the Bidding process

My many years of experience in the construction industry make it easy for me to step into any position offered and do it well with little or no training.
