I joined the bank into the newly-created VP of HR position to create an HR infrastructure to match the then-current rapid growth. I created and presented management training programs, restructured training from a university environment to “learning at a distanceâ€, restructured the benefits plans (saving $1.1MM per annum) and the worker’s comp program (12% reduction in comp costs), revised the employee handbook, created a HIPAA manual and associated training and introduced innovative recruiting and interviewing techniques. At the direction of bank examiners, the bank deeply retrenched and my position, along with four other recently created VP positions, was eliminated.

Following the sale of ABS, I worked with my ABS CEO on a long-term HR, Risk Management, Labor Relations and Organizational Development consulting assignment in the automotive industry in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Nationwide, ISO9002 and DOD certified maintenance company – clean room protocols, airport services, engineering and environmental services, disaster recovery, and large-scale commercial cleaning services. 6,500 employees in 37 states and Puerto Rico. ABS was purchased by GCA Services and my position along with the CEO, President and CFO, was eliminated.
