Worked as a Project Manager with responsibilities for running multiple projects from writing contracts to project close out. When the company decided to start an in house scheduling division, I switched positions being responsible for developing and monitoring schedules for all ongoing projects and ones in the design/build phase. Also was responsible for developing schedules associated with Preconstruction design and permitting. Was able to schedule and bring in on time the “Special Day School†project; originally an 11 month job duration that was reduced to 7 months through close work with the Owner, Architect and Subcontractors.

Promoted to President in 2001, adding supervision of the Project Managers and Superintendents to the above responsibilities.

Upon graduating from Clemson University, I was hired as a Field Engineer responsible for both horizontal and vertical layout. Built the “Charleston Waterfront Parkâ€, working closely with the Mayor of Charleston, City Officials and specialty suppliers ranging up and down the east coast. Despite the destruction caused by Hurricane Hugo, was able to get back on track and completed the project with-in 2-weeks of the Mayor’s original timetable.
