• Six project field managers, customer care associates and warranty personnel reported to me.
• Sub-contractor adherence to construction documents, specifications, safety, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Recruited qualified subcontractors, negotiated sub-contract and vendor agreements.
• Established the pre-construction planning format with home buyers and pre-drywall walk through format that was used during my employment. Also the quality inspections program.
• Maintained contact with homeowners through our customer care personnel to update the owner on the construction progress of their new home.
• Communicated with the sales agents and field management when problems would arise with a customer.
• Monitored field reports on our storm water pollution protection program (SWPPP).
• New site development including initial planning, negotiating with site contractors for clearing, underground utilities, grading and paving. Coordinated with municipal agencies, civil engineers for site planning and permitting.

My responsibilities were as follows:

• Scheduled material delivery, subcontractor coordination and mobilization.
• Contracted for and managed construction projects consisting of hotel, resort and religious facilities in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and the Caribbean including Antigua and Nassau Bahamas.
• Coordinated material deliveries through Ocean shipping companies dealing with letters of credit and customs clearance for materials shipping to projects out of the United States.
• Assisted architects, engineers and owners through the preliminary design phase, construction to final inspection and certificate of occupancy.
