Owner’s Representative - Project Manager
Organized and managed, as the owner representative, the overall residential construction development of the only new condominium building in the Chelsea section of New York City. Responsibilities included design and contract document review, subcontractor document review, scheduling, project budget, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy. Supervised crews of up to 30 punch list trade workers.

• Chelsea Stratus, New York, NY: Completed $131 million, 40-story luxury condo complex in Chelsea, New York within planned schedule and budget. Challenge: Achieved aggressive TCO schedule despite DOB shut-down for 3 weeks due to specified material failure.
• The Charleston, New York, NY: Recruited to assist project manager in completing 20-story luxury condo building in Murray Hill, New York within the planned schedule and budget.
• Chelsea Stratus Sales Office, New York, NY: Completed a 3,000 SF fit-out of a retail space that became the sales office for the Chelsea Stratus. Detected and rectified existing problems with the space and brought project in 3 months early and $300,000 under budget.

Project Engineer / Field Superintendant
Lead project engineer of a staff of 5 project engineers. Responsibilities included engineering review & trade coordination of concrete, foundations, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical design documents. Coordinated and reviewed detailed shop drawings for multiple disciplines with fabrication and installation of materials and equipment. Coordinated with architects, structural engineers, owner representatives, P.A.N.Y.N.J., and T.S.A. officials to ensure full compliance to blueprints and specifications.
KEY PROJECT AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• American Airlines Terminal 9 Redevelopment, J.F.K. Airport, NY: Successfully completed three out of four phases of construction for the new $900 million American Airlines terminal at J.F.K. Airport in New York. The project included a new main terminal facility, an underground tunnel, and a quarter-mile long three-story concourse extension building.
• Detected design flaws with structural steel members, mechanical opening locations, and fire rated wall construction per project addendums and PANYNJ specifications. Saved owner money by declining pending change orders and issuing back-charges to responsible trades.
• Recruited as a field superintendant to coordinate trades to complete the phases and achieved scheduled opening date.

Field Inspector / Geotechnical Engineer
Responsibilities included multiple site visits and surveys as site field inspector. Performed site compaction analyses using geotechnical equipment (i.e. nuclear compaction testing, proof rolling, soil probing, etc.). Performed concrete compressive strength tests and prepared soil classification reports. Experienced in test borings, pile driving (timber, steel pipe & I-beam), proof rolling, grading, compaction, concrete coring, and concrete cylinder compressive strength testing.
