As Owner’s Representative, managed the construction of a 42,000 SF, two story, major addition to the existing Civic Center in Rocky River which includes multiple indoor pools, lap lanes, diving well, water slides, lazy river, spa area, water vortex, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, meeting rooms, aerobics area, filtration, locker rooms, multi-purpose rooms, and other recreational amenities. Supervised inspection personnel and worked closely with project architect.
City of Oberlin, General Maintenance Division Service Complex ($4.4M)
As Owner’s Representative, managed the construction of a multi-facility, General Maintenance Service Complex on a 16 acre plot of land in the City of Oberlin. Facilities include a 27,851 SF main service building, 7,680 SF cold storage building, 8,680 SF refuse/wash building, 4,677 SF salt storage building, and 2,460 SF fuel island canopy. Performed a constructability review of the design documents, participated in the bidding and award of the multiple prime construction projects. Supervised full time inspection personnel during construction and worked closely with project architect.
City of Cuyahoga Falls, Fire Station #5 ($3.2M)
As Owner’s Representative, performed project management of a signature fire station during the design, bidding, pre-construction and construction phases. Expedited the pace of the progress of the design effort. The project involved site work, a new 2-story fire station with associated public safety training center, communications dispatch center, offices, living quarters, apparatus support spaces, and apparatus bays. The structure was built on a 6-acre site and includes future space for a training center and firing range. Supervised full time inspection personnel during construction.
OhioCAT, Inc., Sharonville, Ohio ($1.6M)
As Construction Manger, managed the construction of an 8,000 square feet facility, utilities, and major site improvements. In addition to traditional CM services, was responsible for procuring, selecting and managing the site and interior renovations designs performed by separate engineering and architectural firms. Supervised a full time superintendent on site to manage construction.
Village of Seville, New Town Hall Facility ($1.2M)
As Construction Manager, managed the construction of the remodeling and addition of this existing facility during the design, pre-construction and construction phases. Project included the complete renovation of an existing 8,000 square feet facility and the addition of an extra 2,000 square feet of space. The newly renovated building houses the police department, village zoning and administrative offices, a new 50-seat council chambers and the public works department. Supervised full time inspection personnel during construction.
City of Maple Heights, Police Station ($600K)
As Construction Manager, managed the renovation of the existing administration area, relocation of the dispatch center and upgrade of building HVAC and electrical systems. Was very active in performing constructability reviews of the architect drawings and in reducing costs to meet the city budget.
