Project Manager / Electrical Estimator / Journeyman Electrician
Hired to perform journeyman electrician duties on commercial and industrial jobs. Other job duties hired for were to be electrical project manager, for two large condo project contracts, awarded to the company. One condo was a 4 story building with retail units on the first floor. It also included underground parking with sixty parking stalls.
I was promoted to Electrical Estimator after six months on the job. Duties include procure requests to bid on projects from general contractors. Projects bid on and secured contracts for and completed were valued from $6,500 to $395,000. Most notable was large format digital in Edgerton WI and a seven story apartment project in downtown Madison. Due to the fact that this company had no software, all estimates were hard bids.

Project Manager / Journeyman Electrician
Duties were to be Project Manager / Journeyman Electrician on various contracts awarded to the company. Jobs worked on EK Machine Fall River, WI 50,000 square foot addition to their facility. Included design and build out of required specs. Service addition of 800 amps 277v /480v 3 phase also transformer step down to 400 amp three phase 120v to 208v, panel package. Design and layout of welding and fabricating area, automated painting area and warehouse. High bay lighting for the entire area to specific foot candles. Also was responsible for factory electrical maintenance for this company.
Electrical Project Manager for a new apartment development in Lake Mills WI. Project consisted of 6 - 12 family buildings one and two bedroom units. Along with 8 -8 family one and two bedroom unit buildings. This project also had detached garage buildings, parking lot and street lighting included. This project lasted for 14 months and was completed on time.
Was sub contracted out to Electro-tech to work on a 110 unit outdoor stripe mall. Duties were to revamp shell fire alarm system to incorporate the addition of each retail space that was rented out. I was then sub-contracted out to Madison Electric Inc... Duties were to work on various commercial contracts awarded. Worked on various stripe mall build outs including retail and restaurants.

Journeyman Electrician
This company was a temporary staffing company for the construction trades. I worked for two different companies while with them. The first was Thomas Electric inc. working at the new Devine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI. This project lasted for approximately seven months. I worked with other journeyman electricians from Thomas Electric. My primary area of work was done in the I.C.U. area, Trauma rooms, all x-ray rooms and the MRI area of the hospital. Work here also included the Emergency room area part of the Hospital. Wiring included standard wiring and the incorporation of the emergency system for the hospital.
 Low voltage 120v – 240v Single and Three phase
 High voltage 277v – 480v Single and Three phase
 Transformer wiring, panel board wiring, control wiring, fire alarm system wiring and wiring to the back-up generator system.
The other company I worked for was Central Contracting Electric Service. My primary job was to run two jobs that the company secured.
 Taco Bell Restaurant- Run job from start to finish. In charge of design layout for the electrical requirements needed. Along with electrical wiring this job included the low voltage wiring for the voice and data systems needed for a fast food restaurant. My other responsibility was to train their apprentice electrician how to complete the job on time and teach him the various wiring methods needed for a commercial job.
 Culvers Restaurant- Same responsibilities as the previous job.
After this job I was offered a full time job with Central Contracting. I was their Project Manager and Journeyman Electrician.

Establish and secure contracts with prime companies such as Charter communications, SBC Ameritech, both in Wisconsin, AT&T in Chicago, Illinois and Qwest communications in Arizona.

In charge of handling crews’ daily workload, by scheduling, mapping job locations and dispersing jobs accordingly to each crew.

Determining weather or not the problem is the phone companies or the customer.

Secured contracts for work with commercial and industrial jobs. Such jobs were an antique mall, a marathon gas station also sub contracted with Town and Country electric to work at Kraft foods in Wausau Wisconsin.
Had three residential building contractors that I did all of there electrical work for.
Estimated jobs for bids, handled all inventory from stocking to purchasing and did all billing and invoicing. Employed two other apprentice electricians.
October 1996-March 1998 Robbins Electric inc. Waterford, WI Journeyman Electrician
Doing work for the city of Waterford under contract. Had a contract with the unified school system to do their electrical work including making a new science lab at the middle school. Largest contract was with the largest sand and gravel supplier J.W. Peters in Burlington, Wisconsin. I worked on all of their control wiring for automation of the conveyor system that is in the gravel pits.
Another contract was with Trent tube in East Troy, Wisconsin. We did ail of their wiring when moving equipment around the plant. Mostly rewiring three phase equipment and relocating control cabinets for the equipment.
!n shop work was designing and building control cabinets for automation, with electronic or computerized components whichever the customer requested.

Successfully operated business in Racine and southern Milwaukee counties.
Had numerous commercial contracts, Jung trucking, Hall trucking, Kurk concrete and Masonry Specialists. Designed and wired new facilities, and did all electrical maintenance as needed. Graf door opener Company, hired to do ail of the high voltage and control wiring needed to properly operate doors.
Had an ongoing contract with Seven Mile Fair wiring all additions and doing all of their electrical maintenance.
Designed and laid out all electrical requirements as specified by owner / builder of a large strip mail. Mall consisted of three offices, bar / restaurant, cold storage for mink coats and an indoor archery range.
Also contracted to re-wire existing homes to bring them up to code and or do service changes.

My schooling was for basic electrician / generator mechanic, maintenance and repair. During school I was the class leader in charge of 24 students. In this class I maintained a 3.8 GPA. The final exam I scored a 98.7%.I did two tours in Beirut, Lebanon I had spent a total of 14 months there. I also spent 6 months in Okinawa, Japan.
