MARKETING DIRECTOR/SALES • J-Ray Construction Company - Irvine, CA
Responsibilities include all areas of generating leads through heavy networking. Interact with the Army Corps of Engineers in developing a high volume of international projects in countries such as Afghanistan, Mexico, Peru and Costa Rica. Conduct assessments to build projects including new marinas and resorts, hospitals and reconstruction services.
• Effectively generated over $1 billion in bids.
• Directly involved with the Panama Canal Expansion Project as well as a reconstruction program in Indonesia. (2008 to Present)
DEVELOPER • Baja, Mexico
Engineered, designed and built a housing development project which consisted of building 42 custom homes ranging in size from 3,000 to 8,000 square feet. Homes varied in price from $495,000 to $2,000,000. Projects included refurnishing existing commercial buildings and handling the entire sales process from beginning through to closing. Prepared all documentation, resolved any problems and oversaw, hired and scheduled crews as needed.

Opened and successfully operated this construction company which specialized in historical restoration projects. Hired, trained, supervised and scheduled crews and worked with city officials in obtaining necessary documentation to complete each project.
Prepared all estimates and researched vendors as well as negotiating costs. Worked with clients to ensure projects were completed within budget and time requirements.
• Managed the restoration of early 1900 and late 1800 historical projects in Long Beach and San Diego.
• Received additional exposure by appearing on the television show “Design Challengeâ€. (2001 to 2003)
SUPERINTENDENT • J-Ray Construction Company - Irvine, CA
Supervised all on site activities of multiple projects. Responsibilities included contacting and scheduling all subcontractors, inspections and on-site progress meetings as well as daily construction processes. Scheduled demolition and coordinated all materials and equipment deliveries to job sites.
Maintained project schedules, subcontractor sequencing, client relations, site cleanliness and safety. Submitted requests for information (RFI) and all other correspondence to keep the project moving forward.

Actively involved as a partner in the startup and operation of this concrete construction company. Interviewed, hired, trained and supervised a group of 175 employees. As a General Contractor completed projects such as airline ticket counters, office remodels, flight simulators, runways, and refurbished hotels such as Holiday Inns and various independent hotels.
Handled all paperwork for each project, answered questions, hired subcontractors and ensured codes, guidelines and regulations were met for each project. Became the largest pre-engineered metal building builder in the United States and represented Pascoe, Butler and Star Metal Building.
