LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Hi Brandon,
This is a resume for our John McChancey. He served as my production manager for seven years and was the best production manager I ever had. He has a can-do attitude. The whole time he was my production manager I was never brought into problems or disputes with clients - he handled everything. He's great at establishing and maintaining an upfront contract. He has the heart of the company in his heart and mind and is driven by a strong work ethic, honesty, and the pursuit of excellence.
He is great at managing team members and building up morale. He is an intuitive problem solver and a great person. He even loves hunting! If you have had any thoughts of expanding your leadership team or top-grading underperformers, this is a reason to do it now.
Though John is embarrassed to admit it, he is also my brother-in-law! He married my sister Mindy who he met at Stronghold! I'm very cautious about recommending relatives to friends or associates because if they are not performers it's a very poor reflection on the person who referred them. I have absolutely no hesitation in referring John. If I had work to justify hiring him, you wouldn't be receiving this, he would be employed.
If you're not in need and know somebody in the trades who is, would you please pass the name along to me so that I can contact them on John's behalf? Additionally, forward them this note and have them call me if they would like to hear from me personally about John.
Thanks!
Jim Stephens
